Over the last 15 plus years, I've released albums under my artist name DIETRI. They were recorded in my home studio and I play all instruments myself, overdubbing track by track. Almost all of the songs are my originals, the few that are written, or partially written, by someone else are credited in the song descriptions.
When I'm not designing pickups for my company K&K Sound, my major hobbies are playing the guitar, hitting tennis balls, and sailing. Our cats give me a lot of joy, too.
I own two sailboats, one is permanently moored in Coos Bay, the other one is a 26 foot trailerable sloop, which is easy to launch and setup, thus allowing my family and me to enjoy sailing in other cruising grounds like Puget Sound or one of the many lakes in the Pacific Northwest.
I went through a lot of hobbies in the past, but playing guitar, writing songs and recording them remained the one constant pastime in my life.
